Reunion Location Available

Keith Gibson, Director of the VMI Museum writes to say:

Dear Rockwell Family:

I am not sure that you have annual meetings but I would like to suggest that you consider coming to Lexington, Virginia for such an event. Killen Yeats Rockwell [this is 'Kiffin', Ed.], one of your most esteemed family members, is an alumnus of both of our colleges here--- Washington and Lee and Virginia Military Institute. Lexington is a charming college town.

If your meeting coincides with the academic year, a formal parade of the VMI Corps of cadets would be a feature of your meeting.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance in your consideration of coming to Lexington.

The Paul Rockwell Collection

Writer Herb Kugel writes in looking for info in reusing a photo from the Paul A. Rockwell Collection:

I am a published freelance writer on various topics in the history of aviation. I am currently doing an article on Victor Chapman, the first man to die in the Lafayette Escadrille. In my research, I ran across the photo on the right in the 1962 American Heritage History of Flight (p. 178). The photo was labeled as belonging to the Paul A. Rockwell collection.

I'd love to use the photo in my article.
